Tunis village pottery festival
It is one of the most important festivals in Egypt, usually  It start from 23 rd Novembre, and
end in 25 th Novembre, but in 2015 the dates were changed to be from 3 dicembre till 6 Dicembre,
I t is a great event for tourists who are interested in cultural and human heritage, it intend to revive Fayoum
cultural heritage of pottery, that is why It is called the Pottery festival.
Fayoum pottery festival will be held in a small nice village located on the west side of Qaroun lake, It is Tunis village,
Tunis village has a very famous school of pottery , and many small artisan's studio for processing and marketing pottery.
Tunis village is a picturesque lake side village overlooking Qaroun lake in the vicinity of Fayoum oasis, and there are many lodges in the area with very
good prices.
If You adore nature, If you dream to spend night in places away from the chaotic cities  , so be sure to come to Fayoum oasis specially during the time of Tunis village pottery festival.
Many things to do, ride horses, boat tours in Qaroun lake, tours to Wadi El Rayan or Wadi Hitan ( The Whales valley ).
