Kom El Shoqafa is one of the ost prominent archaeological sites in Alexandria, in 2017 a very ambitious project started to do a complete pomp of the water from it and dry the place, and lower the water level that was completely effecting and endangering the catacombs

Eliyahu Hanavi  Synagoue in Alexandria, was built by the Egyptian 14th century, It was also restored and inaugurated in 2020, You will find that the stones found in its circular are different than the rest ones used in the Synagogue, as these are the ruins of the old synagogue and these old stones were discovered during the last restoration project, That space was not originally present.
