Jordan Biblical Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival to Amman - Overnight in Amman
World tour advice tour representative will meet you upon your arrival to Queen Alia airport, he will hold in hand a sign with your name,
the tour representative will assist you through immigration procedures. Then transfer to your hotel in Amman,
overnight in Amman

Day 2: Amman - Jerash - Anjara - Umm Qais - Amman overnight
Enjoy your breakfast, meet our tour representative to start your biblical tour, drive by modern airconditioned van to the the north of Amman
where you will visit the best preserved example of a Roman provincial city, Jerash, you will feel surprised by watching Jerash theaters, churches,
temples, a Nymphaeum and colonnaded streets. Proceed your tour to Anjara to visit the Shrine of Our Lady of the Mountain. It is said that in this place
Virgin Mary and Jesus had a rest during their journey. proceed your tour, drive to the north to Umm Qais, the antic Gadara, visit its Hellenistic-Roman
remains. According to the Bible Jesus healed here demoniacs and the demons runing as swines into the Sea of Galile. From Gadara you will enjoy a magnificent view
over Galile Sea, the Jordan Valley and the Golan Heights.after the tour transfer back to your hotel in Amman,

Day 3: Amman - Baptism Site - Elijah's Hill - Mt. Nebo - Madaba
Early morning enjoy your breakfast in your hotel in Amman, meet our tour representative, then drive to the Jordan Valley, to Bethany at the Jordan River.
This is the place where the baptism of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist took place. We also have a look at Elijah's Hill where Prophet Elijah ascended to heaven.
From here we journey to Mt. Nebo, the burial site of Prophet Moses overlooking the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Here you view fourth and 6th century Byzantine
churches with very beautiful mosaics. proceed the tour to visit the mosaic city of Madaba, where the oldest map of the Holy Land exists on the floor of St. George's
Church. More mosaics can be seen in the Archaeological Park, which houses some masterpieces from Byzantine churches.

Day 4: Madaba - Mukawir - King's Way - Kerak - Noah's Tomb - Petra
Proceed your biblical tour, On the 700 meter high hill Mukawir, in biblical times known as Machaerus, had been a great palace, where Herod Antipas imprisoned
and killed John the Baptist.you will reach the hilltop over a path. Still to see are towers, walls and baths. Along the King's Way, where already Prophet Moses walked,
we will drive through the land of Edom and Moab to Kerak. you will visit there the great Crusader fortress and an ancient tomb of Prophet Noah.
then drive to the south to Petra for overnight.

Day 5: Petra
Enjoy your breakfast before starting your tour to the red-rose city of Petra is a unique destination.about two thousands years ago the Nabataeans
established Petra, they carved magnificent buildings in the sandstone. you will start Petra tour by walking through the Siq, the Siq is an immense crack in the stone,
leading you to the treasury and to see Petra different sites,walking tour along the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, Qasr al Bint and the young at heart climb
up the 800 stairs to the Monastery El Deir.after your tour in Petra, back to hotel.

Day 6: Petra - Wadi Rum
Enjoy your breakfast,then start your Safari tour, driving one hour and half to the dramatic Wadi Rum, one of the most impressing dert landscapes in the world.
By 4x4 jeep we drive to sand dunes, spectacular rock formations, canyons and Nabatean rock inscriptions. you will enjoy a Bedouin dinner at a Bedouin camp in the
desert where you will also spend the night.

Day 7: Wadi Araba - Lot's Cave - Dead Sea - Amman Overnight
Early morning, we will drive from Wadi Rum desert to the Dead Sea. En route we visit Lot's Cave near the town of Safi. Here Prophet Lot lived together with his
daughters after he fled the sinful cities Sodom and Gomorrah. We head on to the beach at the Dead Sea where you can relax the rest of the day and float in the
salty water. In the evening we drive to Amman for overnight.

Day 8: Amman City Tour
Enjoy your breakfast, be ready to meet the tour representative to go to visit Amman. The town has already been mentioned in the Bible as
Rabbath-Ammon, the capital of the Ammonites. tour to visit to the Citadel with its remains from the Roman to the Byzantine period and Amman Archaeological Museum
housing excellent artifacts like the Dead Sea Scrolls. You will visit the Folklore Museum and the Roman Theater dates back to the second century as well as the
Coptic Church. The rest of the day is free time for leisure or you discover parts of the capital on your own account. Overnigt in Amman.

Day 9: Final departure
Transfer to Queen Alia airport for final departure.
